The Crowned-Eagle Ring 1992

Synopsis

October 1944, the last days of the Warsaw Uprising. Marcin, the 20-year-old cadet, with the handful of survivors of his platoon withdraws from the ruins of the house they defended. He gets wounded. Marcin\'s girlfriend, Wiśka, lands up in one of the temporary camps for civilians. This course of events separates them. After recovery, Marcin manages to find other soldiers from the insurgent platoon healing their wounds in hospitals. He feels responsible for them. At the same time, he wants to find out the goals and intentions of the new government. As Marcin believes, a compromise and reaching an agreement with the new regime are possible. Therefore, he resolves to cooperate with the communists.
