Tomorrow's Weather 2003

Synopsis

Józef Kozioł, a former teacher and ambulance driver, after 17 years spent in a cloister, is expelled by the church authorities when it comes to light that he is married and has three children. He lands up in the house of his wife\'s present partner and the stepfather of his children, where he is put up in a garage of the house. His wife, younger daughter and son still have not forgiven him that one day he had just went out jogging and never came back. Only Ola, the older daughter, is pleased with his return. She is also the one who, unlike the rest of the family, understands and supports him most. Unfortunately, Józef is not ready to live outside the cloister and soon gets into numerous troubles, since the reality, after 17 years, is not the same any longer. Everything around has changed: the political system, people, even morals. The former monk is unable to find a common language with his wife and children. His son has entered politics, the older daughter stars in the reality show, and the younger one has become a computer and drug addict.

"Tomorrow\'s Weather" is a political and social satire seen from the perspective of the main character, who after years of isolation lands in the center of the political reality of the Third Republic of Poland.
