How Far, How Near 1971
Synopsis
40-year-old Andrzej, the main character of this film made in a dream-like convention, is tormented by his war memories and the mystery of the subsequent, suicidal death of his friend. Andrzej sets off on a symbolic tour into his own past in order to face it, to make an assessment of his life and look into the eyes of his deceased relatives. During this unreal journey he meets ghosts of people with whom he was once bound.
