Synopsis

Based on authentic events story of the last eight years of life of Nikifor, numbered among five greatest naive artists of the world. Nikifor for most of his life was misunderstood, ridiculed and treated with contempt. In Krynica, he was regarded as insane, provoking either fear or laughter. In 1960 Nikifor meets Marian Włosiński, a young painter. Włosiński initially wants to get rid of the nuisance, but when he gets to know Nikifor better, he discovers his inborn genius.
