Synopsis
15-year-old Marysia is a shy and religious girl from a large family of modest means. When the whole family moves to a big city, Marysia starts attending a new school. However, she finds it difficult to adapt to the new environment. Then she meets Kasia – an eccentric, intelligent, well-read and musically talented girl with a strong personality. Kasia gradually introduces the new friend to the world of art and intellect, confessing that she is possessed by a demon, which enables her to create music. The relationship strongly affects the psyche and life of Marysia...
