The Lodger 1966
Synopsis
Ludwik is a scientist looking for a quiet place to work. He rents a room in a villa inhabited exclusively by women, each of them having their eccentricities and dreams. Maria, a house manager, intends to start breeding chinchillas crossed with rats. Małgosia, Maria\'s niece, wants to eliminate her aunt. Sportswoman Kazimiera demands the transformation of the villa into a rehabilitation center for disabled women. Each of them tries to draw Ludwik into the implementation of their plans.
This grotesque comedy is a full-length directorial debut of Janusz Majewski.
