The Phantom 1983
Synopsis
The early twentieth century. Piotr Strumieński lives with his wife Ola and their children in a small manor house. Yet he is still haunted by the thoughts of his first wife, Angelica, who died tragically. He often sees her in his dreams. His present wife, tired with his obsession, is increasingly moving away from him, having an affair with her cousin. Piotr and Ola have a son – Pawełek, whom Piotr tells about his memories. This leads to a strange course of events in the house.
The film is based on the novel entitled "Pałuba" by Karol Irzykowski.
