Zebra Film Studio continues digital restoration of its resources.

Pursuing the objective of protecting and preserving the cultural and national heritage, Zebra Film Studio continues the works on the digital picture and sound restoration of its resources. At the moment the following films are in the process of digitization and restoration:

Film restoration is performed by specialized companies in consultation with the filmmakers. Output materials for all reconstructed films are made and then stored in the National Film Archive and Digital Repository. Apart from the restoration, new language versions of the films are being prepared which provide new, updated translations. For selected films premiere ceremonies are organized in the Warsaw's Kultura cinema, with the participation of the members of the Polish Filmmakers Association.

The funds for image and sound reconstruction come from different sources. Digitally reconstructed films were subsidized with public money and by sponsors, including PKO BP. The Studio applies for public funds under the operational programs of the Polish Film Institute and the Culture+ Multiannual Program of the National Audiovisual Institute at the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. These efforts will continue in the following years with the aim to digitally reconstruct picture and sound of many more outstanding Polish film productions from the Studio's film library.

Restoration and digitization of the films owned by the Zebra Film Studio was financed to a great extent under the Culture+ program.
